Domestic Operations Supervisor ALLIED TRANSPORT LLC

Purpose The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency. Coordination and execution of customer orders in accordance with their requirements and/or procedures

Key Responsibility Areas

• Responsible and accountable for the timely placement of loading and unloading of trailers

• Responsible and accountable for optimally managing the driver schedules.

• Responsible for the optimal utilization of trucks

• Responsible for ensuring the transit time is achieved for all customers as per respective KPI’s

• Responsible for dealing customers, attending to complaints if any, resolving them in conjunction with the superiors.

• Responsible for coordinating with workshop for vehicles related issues and ensuring resolutions.

• Responsible for preparing and submitting analysis for operations activities

• Responsible for handling emergency situations as per emergency operations SLA

• Responsible and accountable to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost

• Responsible for timeously preparing daily reports, monthly reports

• Responsible for ensuring timeous fueling and washing of trucks

• Responsible for receiving instructions from superiors and ensuring that it is communicated effectively to subordinates

• Responsible and accountable for training and supervising subordinates

• Responsible for doing any other related logistics functions as requested or required.

• Maintain a smartly presented, polite, diligent, positive and professional attitude at all times; demonstrate knowledge and build customer confidence.

• Shortest delivery time

• Amount of damage cause during transportation

• Delay in reaching destination

• Number of delays in preparing reports

• Number of inaccuracies in reports

• Politeness and courtesy in dealing with customers

Competencies

· Thorough knowledge of process and procedures involved in operations activities

· Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.

· Ability to inspect equipment, vehicles, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

· Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy

· Ability to instruct and supervise assistants

· Strong communications skills and interpersonal skills

Education Graduate

Experience 5-8 years of relevant experience
