Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Establish and maintain document control systems, procedures, and workflows in compliance with company and client standards.
Register, track, and archive all incoming and outgoing project documents (drawings, contracts, technical reports, submittals, RFI, etc.).
Ensure proper version control and distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders.
Monitor document approval workflows and follow up with engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure timely review.
Manage electronic document management systems (EDMS) and physical filing systems.
Ensure confidentiality and security of critical project information.
Generate regular reports on document status, revisions, and outstanding approvals.
Support project managers and engineering teams in retrieving required documentation efficiently.
Train staff and project team members on document control procedures when necessary.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, quality assurance requirements, and client-specific documentation guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree
Proven experience (3 7 years) in document control within an engineering consultancy or construction environment.
Familiarity with engineering drawings, contracts, and technical documentation.
Strong knowledge of document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Primavera Contract Management, SharePoint, EDMS, or similar).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 documentation standards is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
