Roles & Responsibilities

The Division Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance, strategy, and operations of a specific product division within the pharmaceutical company. This role involves leading a team of medical representatives and/or product specialists, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales and market share objectives while maintaining full compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:


Leadership & Team Management:


Lead, coach, and support a team of Medical Representatives, Senior Medical Representatives, and Product Specialists.


Set clear performance objectives, monitor results, and provide continuous feedback and development opportunities.


Sales Strategy & Execution:


Develop and implement business plans to meet and exceed division sales targets.


Monitor sales activities and ensure proper execution of marketing strategies in the field.


Market & Product Expertise:


Maintain a strong understanding of the therapeutic area, competitive landscape, and product knowledge.


Provide field insights to marketing and senior management for strategy adjustment and planning.


Stakeholder Engagement:


Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), physicians, healthcare professionals, and institutions.


Support the team in building trust-based relationships with customers.


Compliance & Reporting:


Ensure all activities are conducted in line with local laws, regulatory guidelines, and company policies.


Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback for senior management.


Collaboration:


Work cross-functionally with marketing, regulatory, supply chain, and medical affairs teams to support product success and market presence.


Lead or support new product launches within the division.


Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced business training is a plus.


Minimum 5 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, including at least 2 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.


Experience in managing a specific therapeutic area is highly preferred (e.g., Cardiology, Oncology, CNS).


Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical market, customer dynamics, and regulatory environment.


Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and team-building skills.


Proficient in Microsoft Office; fluent in English.
