Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement strategies to enhance resident satisfaction and retention.
Assist in preparing the residence budget and Capex.
Continuously strive for new thoughts and ideas to improve and strengthen the residence experience.
Monitor contracts of the outsource vendors and quality of work.
Instigate and maintain high morale and motivation of associates through leadership and ensure that teamwork and loyalty development within the residence team.
Collaborate with the facilities and maintenance team to ensure that residences are well-maintained and meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
Plan and execute resident engagement programs and activities to foster a sense of community within Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Conduct regular inspections of the property and identify areas for improvement or enhancement.
Stay updated on market trends and competitors to ensure Rosewood Residences Abu Dhabi, UAE remains a preferred residential destination.
Control labor and operating expenses through effective planning, budgeting, purchasing decisions, policy making, and inventory control, while focusing on creative cost control and revenue generation solutions to maximize profit in the department and the hotel.
Assist with managing the performance of the residences team, ensure the team deliver the highest quality and Rosewood brand service standards to consistently meet and exceed all residences & guest expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a sizeable luxury hotel with at least 3 years in similar capacity. Previous working experience in Middle East an advantage.
Education: Bachelor s Degree.
General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with diligence, speed and accuracy. prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, staying calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data. Highly organized, result-oriented with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Technical Skills: Proven managerial abilities in people management, strategic planning and decision making. Ability to effectively communicate and provide directions in a clear, concise and professional manner in both verbal and written form.
Language: Required to speak, read, and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to exert physical effort, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.
