Roles & Responsibilities

Are you a visionary finance leader with a proven track record in driving financial strategy, governance, and transformation?


Mawarid Holding, a diversified UAE conglomerate, is looking for an experienced Director of Finance to join our leadership team and play a critical role in shaping our financial future.


  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Group CFO & senior leadership.
  • Lead finance functions across subsidiaries/business units, ensuring alignment with group-wide policies.
  • Drive financial planning, reporting, and treasury with strong capital discipline.
  • Oversee IFRS reporting, audits, and governance frameworks.
  • Manage treasury, funding strategies, and liquidity optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and GCC tax regulations.
  • Lead finance transformation & automation (Oracle Fusion, BI dashboards, digital reporting).
  • Build and mentor high-performing finance teams across entities.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
  • CPA, ACCA, or CA certification is mandatory.
  • 15–20 years of progressive finance leadership, with at least 5 years in senior management.
  • Proven expertise in FP&A, treasury, group reporting, tax, internal controls, and automation.
  • Experience in holding companies / multi-entity groups.
  • Regional experience in UAE/GCC highly preferred.
  • M&A or investment evaluation experience is an advantage.
