Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Overview:
Responsible for the planning, evaluation, implementation and delivery of the Motorsports Events and Asset Strategy (annual calendar). Oversee event acquisition, negotiation, contracting, and operational execution, while driving innovation in fan engagement, human capital development, and strategic talent pathways, working closely with Motorsport Strategy and Partnership areas together with various cross business stake holders (HR, HCP, Development, Legal etc).
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, evaluation, implementation and delivery of the Motorsports Events and Asset Strategy (annual calendar) working closely across various business stakeholders (both internal and external).
- Secure annual motorsports events calendar initiate, negotiate and contract across all levels of events eg Moto GP, Formula E, WEC, Extreme H through to own IP events
- Oversee the end-to-end operational delivery of motorsport events, from contract negotiation through to on-site execution. Manage event budgets, timelines, and supplier relationships to ensure world-class standards.
- Ensure all relevant motorsport assets have a planned and integrated event activation.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders. Work with partners, promoters, and internal teams to maximize brand visibility, audience engagement, and sponsor deliverables.
- Development and implementation of training, education, STEM initiatives, and talent development programms linked to motorsport events. Build pathways for emerging talent and supports skills development to sustain industry growth.
- Development of high-level presentations / materials to present event opportunities to key decision makers in targeted companies.
- Work closely with Motorsports Strategy Director and Motorsports Partnership Director plus other Qiddiya department heads to ensure a fully coordinated and integrated approach.
- Assist in the development of the Motorsports budget in alignment with the organization budgetary requirements to allow effective delivery of desired objectives.
- Provide leadership, measurable objectives, and ongoing management of staff. Develop and implement a culture of commercial focus throughout the entire team.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management or any related fields
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in even management, partnerships, or strategic marketing within the motorsport or automotive industries.
