Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the operations of IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) committees, ensuring efficient and fair resolution processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of IDR committee reviews, including process improvements and best practices.
  • Manage and mentor a team of IDR committee members and staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Manage the budget for IDR committee operations, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze complex disputes, legal documents, and financial data to prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for the committees.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, legal developments, and best practices in dispute resolution to inform committee strategies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Possesses a minimum of 10 years of experience in dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, or a related field within the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exhibits experience in managing and leading teams, with a proven ability to mentor and develop staff.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages relevant to the organization's global operations is advantageous.
  • Exhibits proficiency in using relevant software and tools for dispute resolution and data analysis.
