Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategy & Vision Alignment

  • Develop and lead ROSHN s Events & Sponsorships Strategy aligned with Vision 2030, PIF strategic pillars, and ROSHN s community and lifestyle brand positioning.
  • Establish an annual events calendar including government, community, cultural, real estate, and national events (e.g., LEAP, Cityscape, F1, Riyadh Season, ROSHN events).
  • Design sponsorship strategy to support brand awareness, reputation, and stakeholder relations.

Events Planning & Management

  • Lead the full cycle of event execution: concept design, budget planning, vendor selection, logistics, communications, and on-site operations.
  • Oversee ROSHN-owned events (e.g., project launches, foundation ceremonies, CSR engagements, internal events) and ensure excellence in execution.
  • Ensure high-quality experience for VIPs, investors, partners, media, government officials, and the public.

Sponsorships & Partnerships

  • Identify and assess sponsorship opportunities (local and international) aligned with brand goals (e.g., sports, innovation, arts, sustainability).
  • Negotiate, structure, and manage sponsorship agreements to maximize ROSHN s return on brand exposure, community impact, and reputation uplift.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with key external stakeholders including government entities, PIF companies, and strategic partners.

Performance Measurement & Reporting

  • Define and track event KPIs: attendance, media reach, engagement levels, partner feedback, and brand perception impact.
  • Generate post-event reports including impact evaluation, lessons learned, and stakeholder sentiment.
  • Collaborate with finance and marketing PMO on budget adherence, cost efficiencies, and performance dashboards.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Brand, Strategy, CSR, and Real Estate Product teams to ensure alignment of events and sponsorships with overall narrative.
  • Lead cross-functional taskforces for major national-level engagements.
  • Interface with regulatory bodies, municipalities, and PIF stakeholders for approvals and partnerships.

People Management & Capability Building

  • Build and manage a high-performing team of event planners, project managers, creative leads, and coordinators.
  • Upskill the team on international best practices, sustainability in events, digital activations, and audience engagement technologies.
  • Foster a performance-driven, customer-focused, and agile event culture.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s Degree in Marketing, Events Management, Communications, or related field.
  • Master s Degree or Executive Education in Branding, Strategic Marketing, or Hospitality/Event Leadership is a strong plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 12 15 years of experience in event management, sponsorship, or experiential marketing.
  • Proven track record in leading multi-million SAR event portfolios and national-level sponsorship deals.
  • Experience within real estate, government entities, giga-projects, or PIF portfolio companies preferred.
  • Solid network and experience working with local authorities, event organizers, PR/media, and government relations.

Strategic & Operational

  • Deep expertise in strategic event planning and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong commercial acumen in sponsorship negotiation and contract management.
  • Knowledge of digital and hybrid event technologies and trends.
  • Risk management and contingency planning in high-profile event environments.

Leadership & Communication

  • Inspirational leadership with ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Executive presence and ability to represent ROSHN with senior stakeholders and media.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and diplomacy skills.
  • Experience working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
