Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Digital Projects Specialist with over 5 years of experience in banking and fintech, specializing in card payments and digital initiatives across the GCC. The ideal candidate will be skilled at bridging business and IT, with proven expertise in Visa/Mastercard project delivery, mobile banking platforms, and digital onboarding solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendors and compliance stakeholders, and drive the successful execution of strategic digital transformation projects that enhance customer experience and support the bank s growth agenda.

Key Expertise

• Card Programs: Debit, Credit, Prepaid, Commercial cards
• Payments Technology: Tokenization, Payment Orchestration, Mobile banking architecture
• Project Management: Requirement gathering (BRDs, user journeys), UAT execution, vendor coordination
• Stakeholder Engagement: PMO, IT, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, and scheme partners (Visa, Mastercard)
• Regulatory & Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of GCC banking sector and regulatory expectations
• Change & Transformation: Digital onboarding, process automation, and mobile app revamp initiatives

Core Responsibilities in Qatar Context

• Delivering strategic digital projects within Qatari banks to support transformation agendas.
• Coordinating with local and international regulators to ensure compliance in payment solutions.
• Leading cross-departmental collaboration to prepare for launches of new card and digital banking products.
• Building operational readiness through training, process documentation, and go-live support.
• Enhancing customer experience by adopting new digital capabilities tailored for the Qatari market.
