Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot diesel engines in commercial vehicles to identify issues efficiently, ensuring minimal equipment downtime.
Conduct routine maintenance checks, including oil changes and filter replacements, to ensure optimal engine performance and longevity.
Repair or replace damaged components such as fuel injectors, turbochargers, and exhaust systems, ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards.
Utilize specialized tools and equipment, including hydraulic lifts and diagnostic software, to carry out repairs accurately and safely on commercial vehicles.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates holding an Associate's degree in diesel mechanics or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with diesel engines in a commercial or industrial setting.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics to facilitate effective troubleshooting.
