Are you a skilled automotive professional with a passion for diagnostics and repairs? We are seeking a dedicated MG Diagnostic Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work with MG vehicles, ensuring they perform at their best and meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize specialist tools and diagnostic software to detect, diagnose, and repair faults in MG vehicles.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and generate guided fault-finding programs to reach effective solutions.
- Collaborate with Service Advisors to provide clear explanations of vehicle issues and develop maintenance and repair plans.
- Stay updated with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous learning and formal training sessions.
- Review complete vehicle history and records to determine necessary repairs.
- Communicate effectively with Parts Advisors, Team Leaders, and Workshop Controllers to ensure timely procurement of necessary parts.
- Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and ensure all pending technical and warranty campaigns for MG vehicles are addressed.
- Differentiate between operational issues, system behaviors, and technical faults to ensure accurate diagnostics.
- Maintain an inventory of special tools and ensure adherence to warranty processes and guidelines.
- Prepare detailed technical reports as required and report any quality issues on new vehicles.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, ensuring a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures and perform other duties as requested by the Service Manager or Master Technician.
Requirements:
- Education: High Diploma in Mechanics.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
- Certifications/Training: Certified Master Technician.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
- Driving License: Valid driving license is required.
- Computer Skills: Computer literate.
- Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with telephone and computer systems.
