Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Manage and automate deployments across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises environments.
  • Configure and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS, GKE).
  • Monitor infrastructure and applications using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or CloudWatch.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline release management and reduce deployment failures.
  • Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and cost optimization in cloud environments.
  • Troubleshoot build failures, environment issues, and system bottlenecks.
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency in provisioning, scaling, and monitoring.
  • Provide L3 support for production incidents related to infrastructure and deployment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles.
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Bash, Python, Groovy, or PowerShell).
  • Experience with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Familiarity with source control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD).
  • Experience with microservices architectures and service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
  • Exposure to serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
  • Familiarity with Agile and ITIL practices.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant cloud/DevOps certifications are an added advantage.
