Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Transform raw data into actionable insights by employing advanced statistical techniques and data visualization tools.
  • Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively using tools like Nagios or Prometheus to maintain uptime.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Ansible for consistent environment management.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to enhance application performance and optimize resource utilization.
  • Manage containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes for scalable application deployment.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices to safeguard applications and data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and develop analytical solutions tailored to specific business needs.
  • Design and maintain dashboards that provide real-time insights, ensuring stakeholders have access to key performance indicators.
  • Conduct thorough data quality assessments to ensure accuracy and reliability of datasets used for analysis.
  • Utilize predictive analytics to forecast trends and guide strategic business decisions based on data-driven evidence.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is essential.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator are highly regarded.
  • Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is crucial for effective resource management.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automating tasks and enhancing productivity.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git is expected for collaborative development practices.
  • Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or R is required for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar is crucial for effective communication of insights.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with a keen attention to detail, enabling the identification of trends and anomalies in data.
