Development Director

We are seeking a highly accomplished Development Director to lead the design and development of major real estate and hospitality projects in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in master planning, design strategy, stakeholder management, and development leadership, with a strong ability to balance commercial returns, cost efficiency, and innovative design excellence.

This is a strategic leadership role, working closely with senior executives, external consultants, and government/industry stakeholders to deliver landmark projects that align with long-term growth, sustainability, and brand positioning objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development management across large-scale real estate, mixed-use, and hospitality projects.
• Drive product positioning, value creation, and customer experience strategies from concept to delivery.
• Manage multidisciplinary design teams, consultants, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Negotiate contracts, oversee tenders, and ensure cost optimization while maintaining design integrity.
• Collaborate with leadership on master planning, infrastructure, logistics, and phasing strategies.
• Engage with investors, government entities, and asset operators to align development goals with commercial and regulatory frameworks.
• Ensure integration of sustainability, technology platforms, and operational readiness into project execution.
• Provide C-level reporting, decision recommendations, and strategic advisory to senior leadership.
• Champion change management, innovation, and team culture focused on revenue generation and long-term value.
