Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure design accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, engineers, and contractors
  • Review and validate vendor drawings, subcontractor documents, and design proposals
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and verify design feasibility
  • Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
  • Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, reliability, and sustainability
  • Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and material specifications

Desired Candidate Profile

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering [Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field]. Master’s degree or professional certifications [e.g., PE, CEng] is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering design experience in a related industry

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of engineering software tools [e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, STAAD]
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety codes, and regulatory requirements
