Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

  • Designers with 8-12 Years of experience with a good knowledge to Develop the electrical design criteria, design basis and specifications related to HV/MV/LV Switchgears, Power and Distribution transformers, Bus ducts, AC and DC UPS, VFDs, HV/LV Cables, ENMCS / PMS Systems, E-house Packages, Bulk Materials and other discipline packages
  • Participate in activities associated with material procurement such as Material requisitions, Vendor offer review, technical bid evaluation and Vendor drawing review of all major electrical equipment, Bulk materials and other discipline packages
  • Electrical calculations like Lighting, Earthing & Lightning protection, cable sizing, panel Sizing, illumination calculation, Cable tray sizing, Transformer sizing, Breaker sizing, UPS sizing, etc.
  • Preparation of Load Lists, Cable schedule, I/O list , Single line Diagrams, Meter and relay Schematic Diagrams, equipment layouts and sizing calculations
  • Develop the Bulk Material MTO, Cable Block diagram and Interconnection diagrams

Desired Candidate Profile

Experienced in Plant Process Design works in Refinery, Oil & Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical industry. Working knowledge in Pipenet, HYSYS, PIPESIM, SPPID is required. Experience in finalizing PFD, P&ID, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Line list, Tie-in List, Process studies (Surge, Hydraulic, NPSHA, Simulation, vessel sizing, line sizing & Line pressure drop), Operation & Maintenance manual and commissioning procedure. In depth Knowledge on process software is mandatory. Experience in HAZOP, QRA and PHASER report review and implementation in design deliverables. Vendor package review and preparation of Process data sheets for the process equipment
