Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive skin assessments to evaluate patients' dermatological conditions, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans.
- Assist in various dermatological procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and laser treatments, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients on skin care regimens, disease prevention, and treatment options tailored to their unique skin types and conditions.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing dermatologic surgeries, monitoring recovery and addressing any complications.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient interactions, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid nursing license specific to the state or region of practice, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Certification in dermatology nursing (CDN) or related specialty preferred, demonstrating commitment to the field.
