Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during procedures by ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterile, allowing for a seamless workflow.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Manage patient records meticulously, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and compliant with privacy regulations.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in dental assisting enhances employability.
  • Completion of an accredited dental assistant program is preferred for foundational knowledge and skills.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification to ensure patient safety in emergency situations.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a dental office setting, showcasing familiarity with office procedures and patient care.
