Job Description

• Support the Chef de Partie in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within your section
• Assist with mise en place and cooking during service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work station
• Ensure all food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards
• Follow recipes and presentation standards as directed by senior chefs
• Help train and guide commis chefs and kitchen assistants
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Contribute to minimizing waste and controlling portion sizes
  
  

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen, ideally within a hotel or similar environment
• Culinary diploma or equivalent certification preferred
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety practices
• Willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen brigade
• Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
