Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales to Provide forecast and identify risks/opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement and forecasting accuracy.
- Support the S&OP process.
- Develop and implement weekly and monthly production plan schedules, prioritizing work orders accordingly.
- Establish optimal stock levels while avoiding surplus inventory.
- Generate detailed reports related to MRP, back orders, and production schedules.
- Ensure the timely supply of materials and components to fulfill production needs and maintain minimum safety stock.
- Manage day-to-day order processing and oversee deliveries.
- Ensure all processes are carried out in compliance with established standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems or any other relevant IT systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date data, resolving any issues as needed.
- Ensure the accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOM) and maintain inventory integrity.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor degree from a relevant degree
- Proven experience as production planner
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Good at statistics
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Should be resident near to Obour City
