Position Summary

Cairo, Egypt Delivery Center
We are seeking a highly skilled Core Banking Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Temenos and other core banking systems, with a strong background in implementation and advisory engagements. This role requires a deep understanding of modern Temenos architecture, including AA and new technologies, to support both advisory and implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Advisory Engagements:
1. Assess the current state of core banking systems.
2. Develop future state models and strategies.
3. Write and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
4. Engage with core banking vendors.
5. Evaluate vendor proposals and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
6. Advise and consult clients on core banking solutions.
7. Produce necessary evaluation, assessment, and design presentations and documents.
Implementation Leadership:
Technical / Solution Architecture:
1. Lead the design and architecture of Temenos core banking solutions.
2. Ensure alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
3. Oversee the configuration, customization, and integration of the system.
4. Ensure the solution is scalable, secure, and robust.
5. Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in core banking systems.
6. Experience with Temenos Transact modules such as:
a. Customer: Customer management module.
b. Accounts: Account management module.
c. Lending: Loan management module.
d. Deposits: Deposit management module.
e. Financial Accounting: General ledger and financial reporting module.
f. Temenos Integration Framework (TIF): Integration tools and middleware.
g. Temenos Design Studio: Development and customisation environment.
h. Temenos Data Framework: Data management and reporting tools.
i. Temenos API: API management and integration.
j. Temenos AA (Advanced Analytics): Advanced analytics and reporting.
k. Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud deployment and management.
l. Microservices Architecture: Understanding of microservices and containerisation.
Functional Side:
1. Drive technology and functional discussions with stakeholders.
2. Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
3. Collaborate with business users to gather and document requirements.
4. Ensure comprehensive understanding of functional needs.
5. Conduct thorough testing and validation of the implemented solution.
6. Ensure the solution meets business requirements and quality standards.

Education & Experience
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Extensive experience with Temenos core banking systems.
Experience with additional core banking systems is highly desirable.
Proven experience in core banking system implementation.
Strong understanding of modern Temenos architecture, including AA and new technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Temenos Architect certification.
Experience in writing and managing RFPs.
Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in core banking systems.
Ability to evaluate and recommend solutions based on business needs and technical feasibility.
Ability to advise and consult clients, producing necessary evaluation, assessment, and design presentations and documents.
