Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Review and validate deal submissions to ensure they meet all internal compliance, pricing, and legal requirements.
- Serve as the final approval gate ( green light ) before deal execution or contract signature.
- Confirm accuracy of deal terms, billing details, product configurations, and commercial clauses.
- Validate required internal approvals (finance, legal, leadership) have been obtained.
- Collaborate with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and Finance to resolve discrepancies or escalate issues.
- Monitor the status of deals in approval systems (e.g., Salesforce, Bid Tool. Client Central tools) and manage exceptions as needed.
- Provide timely feedback to sales teams on deal readiness and missing components.
- Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for each reviewed deal to support SOX or internal audit requirements.
- Identify recurring blockers and help streamline the green light process through process improvements.
- Support training and enablement efforts to educate Sales and cross-functional teams on green light requirements and best practices.
Essential qualifications/Experience :
- Fluency in English (written & verbal) is mandatory (eliminatory criterion),
- 2+ years in Deal Desk, Order Management, Banking, Accounting, Finance or Sales Operations experience desired,
- Strong understanding of pricing models, approval workflows, and sales deal structures.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance or audit-ready documentation (preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment.
- Proactive mindset with a problem-solving approach.
- Business bachelor or equivalent preferred,
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SFDC or other CRM or Order Management Software experience, CPQ is desirable.
