Data Visualization Specialist (Tableau Expert, Arabic Speaker)

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Visualization Specialist with deep expertise in Tableau dashboard development, optimization, and administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, interactive, and performance-optimized dashboards for large, data-intensive environments within the telecommunications industry.

This role requires a creative problem solver who can translate business requirements into intuitive, actionable visual insights, while ensuring data accuracy, governance, and best practices in dashboard design. Fluency in Arabic is essential for effective communication with stakeholders and business users.

Key Responsibilities Tableau Dashboard Development

• Design and develop advanced, interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations tailored for executive reporting and operational insights.
• Apply best practices in dashboard design, storytelling, and data visualization to drive user adoption and engagement.
• Optimize Tableau workbooks, data extracts, and queries for high performance in large-scale environments.
• Create and manage Tableau data sources, calculated fields, parameters, and advanced visualizations.

Tableau Administration & Governance

• Manage Tableau Server/Cloud environments, including user management, roles, permissions, and security governance.
• Ensure performance tuning, system monitoring, and troubleshooting of Tableau environments.
• Implement data governance policies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across reporting platforms.

Data Integration & Analysis

• Connect Tableau dashboards to multiple data sources, including Teradata, SQL Server, Vertica, and cloud-based systems.
• Collaborate with data engineers to streamline ETL processes and maintain high-quality datasets for visualization.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to uncover insights and trends supporting strategic business decisions.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business teams (Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Technology) to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to promote self-service BI adoption and empower business users.
• Communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and impact.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Expert-level Tableau skills (development, dashboard optimization, server administration).
• Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Proven ability to design high-performance dashboards for large-scale, data-heavy environments.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (Teradata, SQL Server, Vertica).
• Hands-on experience in data governance, security roles, and user management.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities in Arabic and English.
