Roles & Responsibilities

Job description

As a Snowflake Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing data management solutions on the Snowflake platform, in collaboration with the technical and business teams.


Your main missions will be:


Design, deploy, and maintain data architectures on Snowflake.

Work on integrating data from different sources (databases, APIs, files, etc.) to Snowflake.

Ensure the performance and optimization of SQL queries in a Snowflake environment.

Ensure data quality and the implementation of good data governance practices.

Implement and automate ETL/ELT processes with Snowflake.

Collaborate with Data Science, Business Intelligence and other stakeholders to define data needs.

Participate in the implementation of monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the availability and quality of data.

Manage large and complex data by optimizing Snowflake usage costs.


Qualifications

Profile sought:


 


Bac +5 in computer science, data engineering, or similar field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position, with specific experience on Snowflake.

Snowflake certification (preferred).

Technical skills


Mastery of Snowflake (architecture, data sharing, performance, security).

Strong skills in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, etc.) and query optimization.

Experience with data integration tools such as Fivetran, Talend, or Apache Nifi.

Experience managing ETL/ELT pipelines on cloud platforms.

Knowledge of Python or other languages for data automation and integration.

Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services (S3, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.).

Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
