Job Description Location: Bahrain / India Reports To: Role Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Manager to act as the single source of truth for all data across the organization. This role is responsible for managing the flow, quality, and integrity of data across all functions, ensuring it is accurate, consistent, and delivered in the required formats. The Data Manager will play a key role in supporting finance, operations, underwriting and commercial teams by maintaining a robust data infrastructure. They will be responsible for leading data strategy, governance, and operations to ensure the accuracy, accessibility, and security of data across the company. Key Responsibilities: Centralized Data Ownership Serve as the sole point of accountability for all data used across functions including underwriting, finance, operations, and commercial teams. Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and validated data sets that serve as the foundation for decision-making across the business. Ensure all data inputs follow consistent formats and naming conventions aligned with internal systems and reporting requirements. Partner & Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate data delivery in the required format and structure. Proactively follow up with partners when data is missing, delayed, or submitted incorrectly. Monitor recurring issues in data submissions and implement corrective action plans in collaboration with stakeholders. Data Operations & Governance Oversee the collection, storage, integration, and maintenance of large data sets across insurance and assistance portfolios. Identify and resolve data quality issues, including mismatches, missing values, and formatting errors. Define and Implement data governance frameworks and policies Enforce data governance practices to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory frameworks. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, local regulations). Establish and maintain data quality standards and KPIs. Manage data integration from multiple systems (e.g., CRM, claims management, finance). Own data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation. Reporting & Insight Generation Support actuarial, underwriting, and finance teams with clean and validated data sets for reporting, analysis, and premium bookings. Deliver regular reports to management and respond to ad-hoc data requests from internal stakeholders and partners. Monitor KPIs related to partner data sharing and quality Collaborate with BI, actuarial, and finance teams to develop dashboards, KPIs, and portfolio performance reports. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work with IT, operations, finance, and commercial teams to understand and fulfill data needs. Coordinate with global teams for group-level data initiatives or reporting alignment. Continuous Improvement Identify process gaps in data flows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Support system enhancements and integrations to automate data uploads, validations, and reporting workflows
