Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The consultant will join the Data Platform team to:

  • Design and implement high-performance data pipelines on GCP (BigQuery, BigTable, Dataproc).
  • Develop distributed processing under Spark and Kafka.
  • Participate in the implementation of CI/CD practices (GitLab, Docker) and the automation of data workflows.
  • Ensure code quality through unit and integration tests.
  • Collaborate with development and production teams in an agile environment (Scrum).

Desired Candidate Profile

Bac+5 training in IT

Experience: > 7 years, mastering Cloud environments (GCP or AWS) and distributed processing technologies (Kafka, Spark, BigQuery).

Required skills:

  • Development: Scala and/or Java (expertise)
  • Data: Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, BigQuery, BigTable
  • Cloud: GCP (Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Kubernetes) or AWS equivalent
  • CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD, Docker Compose
  • Advanced SQL, Linux, scripting
  • Agile / Scrum Methodology
  • Good written and oral communication (FR/EN)
