Data Engineer DBT / SQL / BigQuery

Experience level  :  3 to 7 years

Location  :  Casablanca, Morocco

Duration of the service  : 6 months renewable (220 to 225 days)

 TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT AND REQUIRED EXPERTISE.

Significant experience in the field of  Data  and  Cloud , particularly on  Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .

Very good command of  BigQuery  and  advanced SQL , with experience in  processing large volumes of data .

Mastery of  SQL  for  data manipulation , analysis and  enhancement  .

In-depth knowledge of  DBT (Data Build Tool) for data pipeline  management and orchestration  .

Experience with  Pubsub  for  managing real-time data streams .

Proficiency in CI/CD tools  , particularly via  GitLab CI/CD  and  Docker Compose , for automating data workflows .

Good knowledge of the Linux environment   and  command line tools .

Solid experience with  version control systems  ( Git ).

Work in  agile methodology (Scrum) , with an ability to  collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary  teams  .

Excellent written and oral communication  : Good  written and oral  communication  in French  for smooth interactions with the profession.

LEVEL AND TYPE OF EXPERTISE REQUIRED.

Graduate of a Bac+5 from an engineering school or equivalent university with a specialization in IT, or with significant equivalent experience

3 to 7 years of experience   in  DBT, SQL, BigQuery

Experience in the retail or mass distribution sector would be a plus.
