Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Data Centers Lead for KSA you will be responsible for:
Sales:
o Actively network, build and develop client relationships across data centres ( DC ) market,
o Develop opportunities on the DC Market into proposals and sales,
o Liaise with other JLL expertise and departments to build integrated multi-expertise approaches to solve our clients complex problems (Leasing agency, Capital Markets, Sustainability, Consulting, Smart Building, Design&Build etc.),
o Lead bid responses on behalf of Project & Development services, confidently deliver client presentations / pitches,
o Manage or supervise contract negotiation process until signature.
Operations:
o Develop the P&DS business in the DC market,
o Develop a team of DC specialists (PM, MEP, etc.) in KSA,
o Manage DC development projects,
o Participating in drawing up the development strategy for the Data Centres market for all P&DS business lines:
Development advisory
Building consultancy
PMO
Major schemes (base build)
Project & Cost Management for Investors/Landlord (base build)
Project Management for Occupiers (fit-out)
Net Zero Carbon asset strategies and projects
Management:
o Be accountable for Project & Development Services P&L profitability and growth,
o Build and monitor objectives for team members,
o Organise team staffing,
o Actively participate to talent acquisition,
o Ensure rise in expertise and knowledge management,
o Innovate in new methodologies and new tools.
Thought leadership:
o Be an inspirational leader that influences internally and externally,
o Represent JLL Project & Development Services community on the Data Center market in EMEA and worldwide,
o Participate to events, conferences, webinars etc.
Desired Candidate Profile
You hold a degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or equivalent,
You have a significant experience (10 years at least) in a similar role on Data Centers projects management and as a team leader (ideally in a construction companies, real estate services company…),
You are able to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects, from planning and estimating to execution and delivery,
You have strong technical and management background,
Relevant industry certifications are a plus,
You have an international experience and have fluent knowledge of Arabic and English is preferred
You have excellent organizational skills, are detail-oriented, can work independently and are reliable,
You possess strong interpersonal skills, have an excellent presentation, with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, contractors, client’s representatives, etc.),
You are a team player and have a proven track record as a business and team leader.
