Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Position Purpose:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing data related to the trade and movement of agricultural commodities (such as Corn, Wheat, Soybeans, Soymeal, and others), focusing on imports and exports between global ports and Egyptian ports. The role aims to provide accurate insights and analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection & Importing 2. Data Cleaning & Wrangling 3. Analysis & KPI Development 4. Reporting & Dashboard Development

5. Logistics & Field Operations Monitoring

6. Forecasting & Decision Support 7. Process Improvement & System Development

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, IT, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Power BI (Data Modeling, DAX, Dashboard Creation).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for data extraction.
  • Good understanding of statistical principles & trend analysis.
  • Ability to research & gather data from multiple sources (including email).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in English & Arabic.
  • 1 5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence (preferred but not mandatory)

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Power Query).

Power BI (Data Modeling, DAX, Dashboard Creation).

Data Cleaning & Wrangling.

Basic SQL for data extraction.

Ability to prepare both visual & written reports.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
