Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Data Analyst will be responsible for extracting and analyzing data from multiple hospital systems to provide actionable insights that improve patient care, operational performance, and business outcomes. The role involves developing dashboards, generating reports, and supporting quality and performance improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare data analytics, KPI tracking, and reporting aligned with UAE health authority standards.

  • Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field (Master s preferred).
  • Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within a hospital or healthcare organization in the UAE.
  • Experience working with healthcare data, KPIs, and DOH/DHA/MOH reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (Cerner, Epic, TrakCare, etc.) and data integration tools.
  • Strong analytical, visualization, and statistical analysis skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from hospital information systems, EMR, and other databases.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs related to clinical quality, patient satisfaction, operations, and finance.
  • Identify trends, correlations, and improvement opportunities through data-driven insights.
  • Support the management team in strategic planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across all reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with IT, Quality, and Clinical teams to define reporting needs and ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide data visualization and storytelling to simplify complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare data governance, privacy, and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in hospital accreditation and audit processes by providing required statistical data.
  • Continuously enhance reporting processes through automation and innovation.
