The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.ResponsibilitiesMain Duties:Attend all administration team meetingsTyping and branding of official documents and letters to Secondary parentsReceiving, directing and responding to emails of behalf of the Secondary Leadership Team as appropriateLiaise with teaching and non-teaching staff and respond to enquiries on matters within the postholder s responsibilityLink to Aldar HQ for all Secondary related issues/tasksDesign new documents, where necessary, to improve Secondary Academy s effectivenessAttend any training deemed necessary in relation to the role of Admin Support SecondarySupport new staff arrival, induction, accommodation and any other requirementsMaintaining up to date records for all Secondary pupils on engageAssist with the preparation of Secondary PTCsMail merge letters to provide a more personalised service for parents and attached to DMS systemResponsible for all communications to Secondary parents including Homework, Educational visits and invitations to eventsEnsure all fire registers are up to date and accurate for the Secondary SchoolProcess any student leavers forms for whole school, update Engage and forward to AdmissionsResponsible for arranging the cover of secondary teachers in times of absenceTimetable and arranging cover for teachers as required.Knowledge of Isams and Cpoms.Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications O Levels/NVQ/High School Diploma or equivalent (certificate will need to be attested)Isams Trained and Knowledge.Minimum ExperienceMinimum experience of 1-2 years of working in a school.Job Specific Knowledge & SkillsThe successful candidate will require use of Microsoft Office, enthusiasm, initiative, flexibility, good interpersonal skills, motivation, resilience, patience, ability to work flexibly as a member of a team and ability to hit the ground running! Applicants must be confident, good literacy skills and an excellent command of English (An ability to speak Arabic would be an advantage).This job description is not all inclusive.
