Interviews: 2 rounds and a take home assignment totaling a commitment of 3-4 hours over 2 weeks

Your mission:

To provide fast, accessible, and digital lending solutions for SMEs in MENA. In this role that means:

Governance to strengthen and oversee our security governance frameworks, policies, and awareness initiatives.

The role ensures that cybersecurity practices are consistently embedded across the organization and remain aligned with international standards and best practices.

What youll do:

• Develop, implement, and continuously enhance cybersecurity governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance and alignment with leading industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls).
• Conduct risk assessments, identify gaps, and drive timely remediation plans.
• Lead organization-wide cybersecurity awareness and training programs.
• Partner with IT, HR, and business functions to embed cybersecurity governance into day-to-day processes and operations.
• Provide guidance on security best practices to strengthen resilience and reduce risks.

This might be for you if:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on governance, as well as oversight of cybersecurity operations.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
• Proven experience in risk assessments and policy implementation.
• Ability to translate governance requirements into practical and operational security controls.
• Exposure to cloud security governance and vendor risk management.
• Professional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are preferred.

Bonus Points for:

• Experience leading or contributing to successful ISO 27001 certification or audits.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and their intersection with security governance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Prior experience in a fast-growing or highly regulated industry.
