Monitor security alerts and logs from various security tools, including intrusion detection systems (IDS), security information and event management (SIEM) solutions, and firewall logs.

Conduct initial triage and analysis of security incidents to determine the scope, severity, and potential impact on the organization's systems and data.

Proactively search for signs of potential threats and security vulnerabilities within the organization's network and systems.

Document all security incidents, including their analysis, response actions taken, and outcomes, in incident management and reporting systems.

Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of security monitoring and incident management tools.

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.).

Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure that IT systems and processes adhere to compliance requirements.

Develop and maintain documentation related to compliance efforts.

Identify areas for continuous improvement in IT GRC processes and practices.

Recommend and implement enhancements to strengthen the organization's IT security and compliance posture.

Co-ordinate with IT Manager, System Administrators, computer technicians, end users when they need to install or learn about new security products and/or procedures.
