Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain AI governance frameworks, policies, and standards aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks related to AI systems, including ethical, operational, legal, and reputational risks.
  • Collaborate with AI development, data science, legal, compliance, and business teams to embed governance and risk management throughout the AI lifecycle.
  • Monitor emerging AI regulations, standards, and ethical guidelines to ensure organisational compliance and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits of AI models, algorithms, and data usage to identify potential biases, fairness issues, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on AI governance principles, risk management practices, and responsible AI use.
  • Support incident response and remediation efforts related to AI system failures or governance breaches.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and governance committees on AI risk posture and compliance status.
  • Promote a culture of responsible AI use and continuous improvement in governance practices.

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in AI governance, risk management, compliance, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning models, and data management principles.
  • Knowledge of AI ethics, fairness, transparency, and accountability frameworks.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards such as GDPR, AI Act (EU), ISO/IEC 42001, and other emerging AI governance guidelines.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, or impact assessments related to AI systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Relevant certifications such as AIGP are a plus.
  • Excellent English command is must.
