Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expertly interpret technical drawings and specifications to precisely cut fabric pieces, ensuring accuracy and minimal waste.
- Strategically plan and optimize fabric utilization to maximize yield and minimize material costs, contributing directly to profitability.
- Supervise and guide a team of cutters, providing clear instructions and fostering a collaborative environment for efficient production.
- Maintain and calibrate cutting equipment, including manual and automated systems, to guarantee optimal performance and safety.
Desired Candidate Profile
Having a strong understanding of fashion design, garment construction, or a related field provides a strong foundation.
Possess qualifications in pattern making, garment construction, or a related field.
Certifications in specific cutting technologies or equipment operation would be a plus.
Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume apparel manufacturing is required.
