About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Cutting List Draftsman to prepare accurate cutting lists for joinery and fit-out projects. The role is crucial in ensuring efficient material usage, eliminating fabrication errors, and supporting smooth coordination between the design, production, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cutting lists based on approved shop drawings and BOQs.
• Verify material specifications and client approvals before drafting.
• Coordinate with site engineers, production, and project managers to confirm site measurements.
• Optimize material usage to minimize waste and maintain quality.
• Ensure cutting lists are 100% accurate and aligned with approved shop drawings.
• Maintain cutting list logs, reports, and documentation for production and procurement.
• Support junior draftsmen and assist in improving cutting list preparation methods.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Wood Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in joinery cutting lists and technical detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, woodworking software, and material optimization tools.
• Strong knowledge of wood types, paneling, laminates, veneers, and joinery accessories.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
