Job description

As a credit analyst in credit insurance, your role is to assess and establish the creditworthiness of potential debtors and recommend credit decisions to customers and the company, while minimizing the associated risks.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Solvency Assessment: Analyze the creditworthiness of debtors by reviewing their financial statements, payment history, credit history, and other relevant information.

2. Issuance of Credit Recommendations: Based on the assessment of creditworthiness, issue credit recommendations to customers and company management. This can include credit limits, payment terms, and guarantees.

3. Portfolio Monitoring: Proactively monitor the portfolio of customers and debtors to detect any material changes in their financial situation.

4. Communication: Collaborate with different stakeholders to provide information on credit recommendations and answer questions.

5. Case Management:

- Maintain complete and accurate records, recommendations and communications.

- Update administrative information on a database;

- Insert companies' balance sheets on dedicated tools.


Qualifications

- University degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.

- A first experience in the Banking/Insurance/Finance sector.

- Strong analytical and risk management skills.

- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements and solvency indicators.

- Ability to make informed credit decisions.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
