Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Orchestrate crane operations, ensuring seamless coordination between lifting activities and project schedules.
- Implement and enforce stringent safety protocols, minimizing risks and fostering a secure work environment.
- Oversee the maintenance and inspection of cranes, guaranteeing optimal performance and operational readiness.
- Knowledge on various Make / Model / Type / Capacity Cranes like Hydraulic Telescopic & Crawler Cranes (Preferably Zoomlion or XCMG Make) - Selection, Application, Accessories, Load Chart, SLI / LMI, Safe working methods, Signals, Basics on rigging etc.
- Managerial experience of at least 10 years with in-depth knowledge on Economical & Safe operation of Cranes
- Capabilities to manage the Cranes Section in terms of Operator skills evaluation & Training. Deployment of Cranes & monitoring its performance, repairs & maintenance activities
- Ability to coordinate with all concerned and ensure quick induction process & safe operations
- Ability to groom the downline to maintain the records / working details of Cranes, Break down register & Maintenance register in EXCEL and Company Software such as ERP / Troonote etc.,
- Ability to independently communicate with OEM and arrange the Parts & Consumables on time. To maintain the parts requirement plan & consumptions on continuous basis.
- Ability to fulfill the Client Inspection Procedures and guide the technical crew to make the Crane ready according to the Inspection Standards & Environmental concerns
- Knowledge on rigging accessories such as Wire rope, D-Shackle, etc., and its inspection / renewal process, Third party certification etc.,
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Holds relevant certifications such as NCCCO or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in crane operation and safety.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 20 years of experience in the construction or related industry.
- Exhibits a strong track record in managing crane operations, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Demonstrates proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, lift plans, and technical specifications.
- Possesses excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Demonstrates fluency in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate and document crane operations.
