Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, print, cut, and apply graphics onto aluminium sheets and other materials according to project specifications.
  • Read and interpret design blueprints, technical drawings, and customer requirements to ensure accuracy.
  • Operate large-format printers, vinyl cutters, plotters, laminators, and other related equipment for graphic production.
  • Prepare and process materials by measuring, cutting, weeding, and laminating printed designs for application.
  • Apply printed vinyl graphics and other finishing materials onto aluminium and various surfaces using proper techniques.
  • Ensure high-quality output by conducting inspections and performing necessary touch-ups or adjustments.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing, cutting, and laminating equipment.
  • Comply with all safety, housekeeping and environmental directives.
  • Ensure all issued tools, uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is accounted for, maintained and secured.
  • Support other members of the Crafting team in fulfilling their roles and assisting in related projects.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information and proprietary designs.
  • Perform other duties as required by their Supervisor and the Manager, Allied Trades.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A high school diploma is required, technical certificate or diploma in graphic design, printing technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in graphic design, printing, and application of vinyl or other materials on aluminium sheets.
  • Previous automotive industry experience is an advantage.
  • The ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings/schematics is required.
  • Experience in handling and operating large format printers, laminators, and cutting machines.
  • The ability to read and use conventional and digital precision measuring instruments and tools is required.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic, both in writing and verbally is required.
