Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day facility operations across all locations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for cleaning, maintenance, utilities, and repairs.
- Lead facility improvements, expansions, and relocation projects as required.
- Manage facility budgets and service contracts.
- Oversee the acquisition, registration, servicing, and disposal of company vehicles.
- Monitor fleet performance, usage, and costs to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Develop and implement fleet policies (e.g., driver conduct, accident procedures, fuel usage).
- Maintain up to date insurance, registrations, and maintenance logs.
- Support operational departments with vehicle allocation, scheduling, and logistics.
- Manage and support any on site facility and fleet staff (e.g., drivers, maintenance crew).
- Build strong vendor relationships for timely and cost-effective service delivery.
- Respond quickly to incidents or breakdowns and ensure resolution with minimal disruption.
- Identify opportunities to reduce energy and fleet costs through efficiency initiatives.
- Support company sustainability goals through recycling, energy use monitoring, and greener transport options.
- 5+ years of experience in facilities and/or fleet management, ideally in a multi-site business.
- Strong knowledge of UAE facility regulations, licensing, fleet laws, and maintenance standards.
- Proven project management and contractor/vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and fleet/facility management systems.
- UAE driving license required.
- Fluency in Arabic is highly preferred.
- Has strong operational know how and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Combines strategic planning with a hands on approach to problem solving.
- Builds positive relationships across departments and with external service providers.
- Passionate about maintaining high workplace standards and supporting team efficiency.
- Calm under pressure and confident in managing emergencies or unexpected disruptions.
- Flexibility and availability with timings based on business and operational requirements.
