Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management for informed decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to track material, labor, and overhead costs.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities related to production costs.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory and production processes to validate cost data.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by reconciling cost accounts.
  • Evaluate and improve cost control procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare cost estimates for new products, projects, or process changes.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all cost accounting activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience with Odoo system is an advantage.

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, practices, and standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
