Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Reservations department, ensuring all guest inquiries and bookings are handled efficiently, accurately, and with the utmost courtesy.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy, including yield management, upselling initiatives, and group bookings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort offerings, promotions, and local experiences to personalize guest interactions and drive cross-selling opportunities.
- Analyze booking patterns, forecast occupancy, and prepare reports for senior management.
- Train, mentor, and motivate Reservations team members, fostering a culture of service excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with Four Seasons standards, policies, and procedures, as well as local regulations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management to execute promotional campaigns and manage special events or high-demand periods.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns related to reservations promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records and manage inventory in the property management system (PMS).
- Drive digital transformation initiatives within the reservations process, leveraging technology to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Reservations or Front Office Management within a luxury hotel or resort environment; prior Four Seasons experience is an advantage.
- Arabic Speaker, Local preferred.
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing teams in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, SynXis) and reservation platforms.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; additional languages (especially Arabic) are a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, forecast trends, and make sound business decisions.
- Impeccable attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering personalized service.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
