Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items following recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
Assist with food preparation such as chopping, portioning, and measuring ingredients
Monitor temperature of ovens, grills, fryers, and other equipment
Check food quality, freshness, and portion accuracy
Prepare cold foods and assist with daily mise en place
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, tools, surfaces, and equipment
Handle food storage, labeling, and rotation according to safety standards
Support senior chefs during busy service periods
Communicate any shortage of ingredients or equipment issues to supervisors
Follow safety, hygiene, and company procedures at all times
Lift and move items up to 11 kg as needed
Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors
Desired Candidate Profile
At least 3 years of experience in a similar culinary role
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and commercial kitchen operations
Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
Strong awareness of food safety and hygiene practices
Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
