Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Preparing, cooking, and presenting menu items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
- Following standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
- Setting up and maintaining workstation mise en place for smooth operations.
- Assisting senior chefs with buffet setups, la carte service, and special events.
- Ensuring food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards are strictly maintained.
- Properly storing and rotating ingredients to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
- Handling kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Supporting cost-control initiatives and maintaining quality consistency.
Desired Candidate Profile
A diploma or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred.
- 1 2 years experience as a cook in a hotel kitchen or high-volume restaurant, ideally in all-day dining.
- Knowledge of international cuisines and cooking techniques.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
