Our Client, A leading Food Business Group in Jordan, is looking for COO (Chief Operating Officer) to be based in Amman Jordan and reports to Group CEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement operational strategies, plans, and procedures that align with the company's short-term and long-term objectives for growth and profitability.
• Production & Quality Assurance : Oversee all food production operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality control and compliance with national and international health, safety, and food industry regulations.
• Supply Chain & Logistics Management: Manage and optimize the entire supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, warehousing, and transportation, to enhance efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce costs.
• Financial Acumen: Collaborate with the CFO and finance department on budget management, capital investments, and financial forecasting to ensure fiscally sound decisions and achieve investor targets.
• Team Leadership & Culture : Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing cross-functional team, fostering a positive company culture and ensuring effective recruitment, professional development, and retention strategies.
• Process Improvement & Technology Integration : Identify and implement process enhancements, technology, and automation to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and drive innovation.
• Risk Management & Crisis Planning: Proactively assess operational risks and develop robust contingency and crisis management plans to ensure business continuity in the face of supply chain disruptions or other incidents.
• Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, vendors, and government authorities in Jordan and the wider Middle East region.
