Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Location: Riyadh, KSA
Project Type: Data Center Construction.
Responsibilities:
Contract Administration
- Review, interpret, and administer the main contract, subcontracts, and supplier agreements in line with project requirements and KSA laws.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and obligations, maintaining a contract register for key deliverables, milestones, and obligations.
- Prepare, review, and issue contractual notices as required under the contract (e.g., claims, extensions of time, variations).
- Support drafting, review, and negotiation of subcontracts and supplier contracts to align with the main contract and company policies.
Commercial & Financial Management
- Monitor project cash flow, payments, guarantees, retention, and insurance requirements as per the contract.
- Assist in the evaluation and negotiation of variation orders and change requests with client and subcontractors.
- Work closely with procurement and finance teams to ensure alignment of commercial terms and invoicing.
- Support project budget control and financial reporting related to contract deliverables.
Claims & Disputes
- Identify potential claims (time and cost) and support in drafting claim submissions with proper documentation.
- Maintain records of correspondence, site instructions, delays, and disruptions for claims preparation.
- Assist in dispute resolution processes, arbitration, or legal proceedings, coordinating with legal advisors when required.
Risk & Compliance
- Identify contractual and commercial risks, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues.
- Ensure compliance with KSA labour laws, government regulations, and international contracting standards (e.g., FIDIC if applicable).
- Support audits, reviews, and internal compliance checks on contract management.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the point of contact between project teams, client representatives, and subcontractors on contract matters.
- Provide contractual guidance and training to project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams.
- Prepare and present periodic contract status reports to management.
