Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead contract negotiation, drafting, and management for large-scale construction and engineering projects

  • Develop and implement contract strategies aligned with company objectives and client requirements
  • Oversee the review and administration of contracts, including subcontractor agreements and procurement contracts
  • Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution to minimize risk and protect company interests
  • Collaborate with project teams, legal advisors, and clients to ensure contract compliance and smooth project delivery
  • Prepare detailed contract reports, risk assessments, and documentation for senior management
  • Ensure adherence to local laws, regulations, and international standards governing contracts
  • Utilize contract management software and tools such as SAP, Oracle Contracts, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Mentor and lead the contracts team to enhance skills and efficiency
  • Monitor contract milestones and deadlines to avoid delays and financial penalties

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in contract management within construction or engineering industries
  • Expertise in contract law, procurement processes, and risk management
  • Proficient with contract management software such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE construction laws and international contracting standards
  • Ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
