Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Contract and Document Management

Review main contracts and subcontract agreements, analyze contract conditions, and identify potential risks.

Prepare and review subcontracts and supplier agreements in alignment with the main contract terms.

Maintain and organize all contractual documents and correspondence systematically for easy reference.

2. Claims and Variations

Analyze variation orders and prepare technical and financial justifications.

Prepare and draft claims for delays, additional costs, and other contractual entitlements in accordance with the contract terms.

Follow up on claim submissions until final approval by the consultant or client.

3. Correspondence and Communication

Draft formal contractual letters to clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Coordinate with technical departments (construction, technical office, planning, procurement) to gather supporting data for claims and variations.

Respond to contractual correspondence in a manner that safeguards the company s interests.

4. Financial and Contractual Analysis

Support in the preparation of cost estimates for variations and change orders.

Review monthly payment certificates (IPCs) and verify them against actual progress.

Track differences between contract quantities and actual executed quantities (re-measurement).

5. Risk Management and Reporting

Identify potential contractual risks and recommend preventive measures.

Prepare periodic reports on project contractual status (claims, variations, pending issues).

Participate in project meetings with clients and consultants to discuss contractual i

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of proven experience in contract management within the infrastructure sector.
  • Strong understanding of FIDIC and other standard forms of contract used in infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and draft complex contractual documents.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work onsite as required by project demands.
