Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of critically ill children in the PICU, providing expert clinical care and decision-making.
  • Oversee and guide the multidisciplinary team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through collaborative practice and efficient resource utilization.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols and clinical pathways specific to pediatric critical care, constantly striving for excellence.
  • Participate in daily rounds, providing detailed assessments, formulating treatment plans, and communicating effectively with families.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and a specialist qualification in Pediatrics.
  • Holds a sub-specialty certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine from a recognized board.
  • Requires current and valid medical licensure and registration to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in a PICU setting, post-specialty certification.
