Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological disorders such as Epilepsy, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Migraine, and other neurological conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests including MRI, CT scans, EEG, EMG, lumbar puncture, and nerve conduction studies.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing management and follow-up care.
  • Lead multidisciplinary case discussions, ward rounds, and patient care planning meetings.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior doctors, residents, and allied healthcare staff.
  • Ensure timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical governance activities, quality improvement initiatives, and audits.
  • Stay updated with the latest research, developments, and best practices in Neurology.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, medical ethics, and patient safety protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • MBBS Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • British/Irish Qualified with CCST
  • Preferably his/her area of interest is in Epilepsy, plus general neurology
  • Completed residency and fellowship training in Neurology.
  • Valid medical license and board certification in Neurology.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of post-specialization experience, including leadership roles.
  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration abilities.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
